Stephanie D’Alonzo is a preK-5 Math Specialist and Instructional Coach. This role focuses on excelling student math performance by building teacher effectiveness through collaboration, co-teaching, modeling, and reflection. Mrs. D’Alonzo also assists in planning and facilitating Professional Development for Elementary Mathematics at Interboro. Before stepping into this role, Mrs. D’Alonzo was a second grade teacher for 10 years at Glenolden and Interboro’s K-2 Math Coordinator for the last 5 years. She has always had her hand in some sort of coaching at Interboro, whether it be coaching field hockey or lacrosse. Now, this new district role has allowed her “coaching” to take a new form. Mrs. D’Alonzo is also a proud graduate of Interboro High School. #BucPride
Kerri Urzillo is a Math Specialist and Instructional Coach for preK-5 for the Interboro School District.Through collaboration, planning, facilitating professional development and reflection, she has a focus to improve the impact teachers are making on their students' learning, specifically in math instruction at ISD. Kerri started as a second grade teacher at Norwood School for 6 years and the K-2 STEM coordinator for 5 years. As an athlete for many years, Kerri understands the impact that coaches have on motivating individuals and teams to be the best versions of themselves both on and off the field, similar to what she strives to do in the district.
Crystal Wilchensky is the District PreK-3 Literacy Coach. Her professional experience includes 18 years of teaching, 16 within the Interboro School District as a primary grade classroom teacher, a Title 1 reading specialist, and currently as the District Literacy Coach for Grades PreK-3. She is also the District K-2 English Language Arts Coordinator, and New Teacher Induction Program Coordinator. Mrs. Wilchensky facilitates professional staff development using the core values of collaboration, trust and support to connect with colleagues. This perspective allows her to deepen teacher knowledge of content and pedagogy, best literacy practices, resources, and curriculum. As the district implements structured literacy based on the Science of Reading, Mrs. Wilchensky is honored to work in conjunction with central administration, teachers, and staff to develop a solid literacy foundation for our students.
Nikole Lutteroty is the District 3rd-6th grade Literacy Coach. Nikole has been teaching 15 years with her last 8 years spent as the Title 1 reading specialist in her elementary building. During her time as a reading specialist, Nikole had many different roles which included being a part of the MTSS team, providing professional development to teachers, implementing multiple structured literacy programs and the role of head coach of the Reading Olympics team. With a passion for fostering a love of reading and a wealth of experience in literacy instruction, Nikole is ready to support teachers and students on making an impact on their academic success.
