My name is Crystal Wilchensky and I am currently the Title I Reading Specialist at the Kindergarten Academy.  I have been teaching in Interboro School District since 2006!  Prior to coming to the Kindergarten Academy, I taught at Glenolden School.  My experience at Glenolden spans from first through third grade, where I was able to work with some amazing students and families.  (Although, I am better known using my maiden name of Miss Ryan there. :)) 

Interboro has always been my home.  While completing my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Neumann University, I student taught in second grade at Glenolden.  After a brief stint at a catholic school in the area for one year, I made the transfer back to Glenolden School and public education.  My love for teaching language and reading drove me to purse my certification in English as a Second Language (ESL) and then eventually my Masters Degree in Reading Education through Cabrini College.  Both my experiences and education have prepared me to step into the Reading Specialist position.  Here a new chapter began and I am so excited to continue to work with all of the Kindergarten students and families each year!
