Welcome back to school! This is my fifth year here at Glenolden, and I really feel like I have become a crucial part to this Glenolden community.  I have previously taught English at the 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, and 12^th grade levels, and I feel that my past has shaped me into the kind of teacher I am today.  I have very high expectations for my students, and believe they can achieve more than they know possible.  I remind them of this often within my classroom.

I just recently received my Master’s degree in Instructional Media (technology in the classroom).  Therefore, you will hear many times throughout the year about the different types of technology that I incorporate into my lessons.  I do my best to keep the students interested in lessons, and use many different types of media to make this happen.  

I am also a coach (Prendergast Lacrosse), so I know the importance of teamwork very well.  My class is run like a team, with all students respecting and embracing each other’s ideas and opinions.  

 I am very happy to be such a big part of your child’s education. I am enjoying getting to know the students, and their success is my primary goal.  I feel this goal can be reached with the hard work and cooperation of all the students, and, of course, you as well.
