Welcome to my page! I have been a teacher at IHS since 2004 and can't believe how fast those years have gone by. Freshman Integrated Science is my specialty, but I also teach Biology from time to time. Neumann University is my alma mater, twice in fact, but it wasn't a University back then. I first graduated with a BS in Biology/Chemistry and went on to work in Environmental and Chemistry Lab settings. Later, I returned to Neumann to obtain my Ms EDU in Educational Leadership and teaching certificates in General Science and Biology.

      I love the outdoors, walking, hiking, exploring, all seasons, all temperatures, just enjoying nature. I'm crafty and enjoy sewing, and reading, but most of all I enjoy just spending time with my family, my husband, daughter, son, and rescue mutt.

      My motto is try and try again! We, including myself, all have our strengths, but everyone can put forth their best effort to gain knowledge and success along the way.
