Hello and Welcome!

I'm excited for another year at Interboro High School!  For those who don't know me...

I have a Criminal Justice background, but quickly realized that field was not for me and found my passion in education.  I earned a master's in Education Counseling and then worked as a long-term substitute high school counselor in Upper Darby School District before substituting for a social worker in their alternative education program.  I then received substitute positions for two Interboro School District counselors who went on maternity leave, which led to my current position at the high school as a permanent counselor.

Coming from a military family, I have lived in 8 different states as well as Panama, moving 10 times before starting college.  I am involved with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), an organization that helps family members who have lost someone that served in the armed forces.  I love Latin/Ballroom dance and took professional lessons for years.  I was once face-to-face with a wild black panther in the jungles of Panama...and lived to tell about it (if you ask, I'll tell you the story).  I can't go a day without dark chocolate and am extremely anti-turtlenecks.

While the 20-21 school year will be challenging, I know that we'll get through it together!
