• Principal Kelly Thanks for taking the time to view the Prospect Park School site and see some of the great things we do at the Interboro School District.

My professional background includes over 15 years of experience in education as a Principal, Assistant Principal, Supervisor of Special Education, and teacher of mathematics and science to students with learning and emotional needs.  My experiences also include eight years with the United States Navy as a member of the Office of Naval Intelligence and a joint Special Operations Task Force in Iraq.  Additionally, I have worked with children through my work and volunteering with the Abington School District, the School District of Philadelphia, The Ronald McDonald House, and the Children’s International Summer Villages.

Personally I have a wonderful family with my beautiful wife Adele, twin boys Joey and Charlie, and our dog Scout.  When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and working around the house.  As for my schooling, I received a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from West Chester University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arcadia University, and I am currently pursuing a Doctoral degree from Arcadia University.

Throughout my career, I have made it my primary goal to provide a safe environment for our children to learn and grow.  I believe in creating a learning environment that will invite every child to participate and feel comfortable as they dare to ask questions and take an active role in their education.

Being part of the Interboro School District community is my privilege, and I am delighted to work closely with the students, staff, and families of Prospect Park School.  Prospect Park has a tradition of dedicated parents and staff members and this level of commitment shows in the high levels of student success.  Strong commitment, communication, and collaboration ensure our continued success as a learning community.  I look forward to working with all of the members of our school community as we move along through this school year.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any concerns.  I look forward to a great school year.

Thank you for being a part of the Prospect Park School family.
