Dear Interboro Community,
Welcome from the 2024-25 Interboro Athletic Department. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Lisa Ford and I am a proud 1988 graduate of Interboro High School. I have been in education since graduating from Millersville University with a degree in Biology Education in 1993. I worked for 23 years at Bishop McDevitt High School as both a teacher and as an administrator. My administrative duties covered everything from Activities to Academics. I coached varsity volleyball and softball for 20 years. I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Principal Certification from Saint Joseph University. I served on the PIAA Executive Board for District 12 and was the District 12 Volleyball Chairperson for State Playoffs. Several years ago, I returned to the classroom as a teacher at Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown where I got to reconnect with students after so many years as an administrator.
I am thrilled to be part of the Interboro School Community! I have always dreamed of giving back to my alma mater and what better way to do so than by working with student athletes, just like I was? Interboro has a long tradition of excellence, not only in academics but also in athletics. BUCS are winners both on and off the field and I hope to continue to help student athletes realize their potential and to watch them succeed!
I look forward to meeting and working with you as we set out on the fields, courts, trails, and mats to learn and grow as athletes and as individuals. It is good to be back home!
Sincerely,
Lisa Ford
