Skill Development, Employability - (Special Education)
Description:
During this class, we work on employability skills, including: going out into the community daily to volunteer at various businesses and networking. The district will provide transportation to and from school for these volunteer opportunities. In addition to volunteering, students will also apply for jobs. The hope is that students will get jobs, and I will be able to join them at short intervals on the job in order to help with skills. We will also take what we have learned back to the classroom and continue to work on skills or behaviors.The following documents describe the skills and subjects reviewed:
